The design of Zhairuo Island power system located in Zhoushan, Zhejiang province is introduced. The system consists of marine current units, wind plants, photovoltaic units, hybrid energy storage units, and diesel units, connected to the network mainly with invertors. The load-generation data, electrical network, control system, and simulator of the project are described in this paper.
