This paper is concerned with the problem of control of polynomial-fuzzy-model-based systems by using sum of square (SOS) approach in the network environment, where both network-induced delay and packet dropout are addressed. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii stability theory and Finsler's lemma, the stability analysis and controller design conditions are obtained. These conditions generalize previous results that were derived using linear-matrix-inequality (LMI) approach. Moreover, a generalized results can be obtained by bringing the membership functions as polynomial variables for relaxation of SOS-based stability conditions, which can be numerically solved by using the SOSTOOLS.
