In order to achieve high-speed, real-time video image processing requirement, en embedded system is designed, based on the high-performance DSP chip and the H.264 video coding standards. The system, written by C language in CCS3.1 for achieving H.264 compression algorithm and DSP/BIOS integrated development environment, through a combination of hardware and software, stored the data by using EDMA high-speed channel to optimize storage speed, then to improve data processing speed of about twice and have achieved a efficiency, real-time DSP system.
