RFID is a high-tech, which has a unique advantage in data collection and data transmission. Data mining is a powerful data analysis and data processing technique. With modern aviation industry developing rapidly today, a great deal of information and automation technology is also used in air materials management system to improve efficiency. The air materiels management system designed in this paper is based on RFID and data mining. In this paper the concept, system composition and advantages of RFID are introduced. The establishment of the basic framework of air materials management system is discussed, which includes RFID data collection system and the design of management system application. The importance of application of the data analysis module is emphasized.
