Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has influenced every aspects of human being and it has brought a lot of innovation in the field of education. E-learning is the fast growing aspect of lifelong learning process. It is a new form of teaching and learning method that makes educators to rethink when designing an e-learning courseware. Pedagogical approach of teaching and learning should be taken into consideration while the designers develop an e-learning courseware. This paper tries to explain the importance of amalgamating the pedagogical approaches and e-learning standards in order to develop an appropriate e-leaning courseware.
