It studies complex characteristics of complex projects with system theory. Based on advantages of grid technology in dealing with complex project crisis, it explains complex project crisis management procedure based on grid and builds a grid system for complex project crisis emergency management which consists of resource layer, grid middleware layer, application service layer and layer of grid portal. It describes the main features of each level and explores safety strategy of the grid system. The grid system for complex project crisis emergency management is designed to achieve more efficient disposal of the crisis.
