The paper introduces the smart antenna technology and its application in mobile communication system. Through processing signals received by the array element in weighted way. It can effectively adjust its parameters, increasing the gain, expand capacity, enlarge coverage area and reduce error rate and spectrum efficiency, so the performance of mobile communication system can be proved by this technology.
