This paper presents the design of a real-time operating system which can run on embedded CPU with limited resources in detail. The kernel of this operating system consists of the following modules such as task management, task synchronization, memory management, ticks control, etc. The article shows the method for kernel running, analyses the performance index of the kernel and validates its reliability.
