The authors firstly think it necessary to design a remote-sensing-oriented Grid Workflow. Then the paper gives a detailed description about the related research of Grid Workflow composition systems and Grid Workflow technologies applied in geosciences. And the authors emphasize the method of Modeling of Finite Automata Based on DAG structure for Grid Workflow Composition System of Remote Sensing Quantitative Retrieval in the paper. Finally, the authors develop the workflow based on the model and give a case of workflow for atmospheric aerosol based on HeiHe area.
