In order to improve the vehicle smoothness, the 3-DOF analysis physical and mathematical models of a vehicle and seat air-spring suspension system were established. Based on the linear stochastic optimal control theory (LQG), use the signal of road's output as excitation source to design the optimal law of this feedback control system. Application of MATLAB simulation programming language was designed for the model and computer simulation. The results show that the control strategy on the road excitation system has a good applicability on control the vibration passed to the driver's seat through the vehicle and it can effectively reduce the vertical vibration acceleration which is passed to drivers.
