In this paper, a new method for blind image water-marking using DWT coefficients of host image and TurboCodes is proposed. To achieve robustness against JPEG compression the watermark is encoded via Turbo Code encoder before embedding. This encoding results in a redundancy that is used at receiver end for detection and correction of errors. Then we apply DWT by three level and watermark bits are embedded into coefficients in the middle frequency subbands. At receiver, extracted bits are decoded and watermark is obtained after Turbo decoding. The main goal of this paper is increasing robustness using Turbo Codes. We investigate this method with simulation and using a variety of standard test images. Simulation results prove performance of proposed scheme. With this method we can extract watermark after compression with QF=20% perfectly.
