Using feature points of object surface obtained by stereo matching and the original matching image, A simple algorithm by which object realistic surface reconstruction is achieved. The main steps are shown as follows: Project the feature points on object surface into a plane, on which the projection points are obtained. After triangulating projection points on the plane, we project the result back to the object surface and represent the topological structure of the object using spatial triangulations. Finally, the object surface is reconstructed realistically by mapping the object image on the geometry structure. Moreover, several essential conditions for reconstructing object surface are given.
