Main function of Automatic Train Operation(ATO) system of maglev train is proposed, as the research background of maglev train, and the design index of ATO control system is also given. Automatic Train Operation control method of maglev train is studied integrated with the theory of predictive control algorithm. The validity of predictive algorithm is proved by analyzing simulation of the ATO tracing curve. Fundamental structure and the hardware design of ATO system is given accordingly.
