Lensless on-chip color imaging using nano-structured surfaces and compressive decoding

By modulating the diffraction pattern of a multi-color object using a nano-structured substrate, we demonstrate lens-free color imaging on a chip. This on-chip imaging modality could be important to create compact lens-free fluorescent microscopes.
