This paper presents the results of the implementation of pre-laboratory questionnaires in different subjects taught in technical degrees. We studied the main variables for the design and application through e-learning platform. This type of questionnaire allows each student assessing his/her knowledge before a practical session. It promotes student interest and thus, better use of resources. The effectiveness of the proposed strategy has been established from qualitative and quantitative data collected through observation, marks and a specific poll. Finally,the comparative analysis of several disciplines showed the advantages and disadvantages of this strategy and the key points for extrapolating these teaching-learning activities to any university subject.
