With the widely applications of CAD, it is important to manage the workflow in the design systems. According to the characteristics of CAD collaboration design, combining the advantage of state chart and Semaphore mechanism, this paper first proposes a workflow management system based on state chart, then discusses its key technology and demonstrates its application in the workflow management of collaborative architectural design.
