The ultrasonic Doppler velocimeter (UDV) is a multifunctional instrument to measure flow velocity by means of the ultrasonic Doppler effect. The instrument is widely used in scientific research and engineering practice for the study of hydraulic systems. It has the advantages of a simple structure and wide applicability and is convenient for field use.
