Cloud computing is a paradigm providing on demand service resources, which can be software, hardware, platform, and infrastructure among others. As workflow can be a fundamental technique for future scalable applications in cloud, research on it under cloud computing environment is emerging. This paper reviewed the state of art of workflow modeling, especially resource modeling, and presented a resource model. Then an extended CPN model, Semantics Constrained Net (SCN), was defined formally for resource constrained workflow under cloud computing environment. An example of e-business was illustrated to give effectiveness of SCN.
