After the modification of intelligent substation reconstruction, it will access more auxiliary system, in order to better the management of substation and the auxiliary system will access the system of the station anti-maloperation layer, and IEC61850 has already become standard protocol of the station anti-maloperation layer of substation and secondary equipment communication. The conversion of traditional protocol of dot-oriented technique towards IEC 61850 of the object-oriented technique is an inevitable trend of the network technique development. The non-IEC61850 protocol must convert the protocol conversation before it access the system of the station anti-maloperation layer. This paper takes CDT protocol for an example and discusses the principle and the implementation of conversing CDT protocol to IEC 61850 in this article.
