The paper presents some practical aspects related to the induction motor supply n low speed range by Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) inverters. The relationship between voltage frequency and voltage amplitude at low speeds and the speed ripples that appear as a cause of the voltage harmonics generated by the switched inverters are emphasized.
