A high dynamic range LNA for application in filterless RF receiver front-ends in 90-nm CMOS is presented. A capacitor cross-coupled common-gate LNA has been implemented. The LNA achieves a noise figure of 3.3 dB in the DCS band (1805 - 1880 MHz) and 3.5 dB in the PCS band (1930-1990 MHz). An IIP3 of +6.9 dBm, a 1 dB input compression point of -1 dBm, and a gain of 20 dB in the DCS and 20.2 dB in the PCS band are measured at a DC current consumption of 4 mA from a 2.5 V supply. Desensitization measurements at 20 MHz to 100 MHz blocker offset frequency in the DCS and PCS bands show 1 dB gain desensitization points ranging from -3 dBm to 0 dBm depending on blocker offset frequency.
