This paper proposes a power combining amplifier based on composite right/left-handed (CRLH) transmission line. The circuits using proposed technique consist of the CRLH transmission line, that are series capacitors, shunt inductors and a right-handed (RH) transmission line, to replace the parallel capacitors and transmission line to satisfy matching conditions and to combine power. As a result, the proposed 2-way amplifier is measured that a gain is equal and the output power is increased about 2.6dB higher than the single amplifier. Also, a size of power combining amplifier is 78.3% smaller than the conventional amplifier using RH transmission line.
