In last few years, advance in processing power is usually achieved by multiplying cores on a single chip. Current processor architectures are diverse, multi-core and heterogeneous. This paper presents novel real-time video processing framework based on recent Open Compute Language standard for heterogeneous multi-core platforms. This framework is tested and verified on several real-life applications such as: DTV/STB functionality testing; Video quality assessment of broadcast signal.
