Gray correlation analysis and improved IPAT model were used to analyzed industrial environmental impact in Jiangsu, china from 1999 to 2009. Empirical results are : a) all the main industrial pollutants have been controlled, especially the industrial solid wastes, except the total volume of industrial waste gas discharged; b) in spite of the eco-efficiency of industrial waste water grows faster than the economy, it has a strong gray correlation with the industrial development and keep growing in the teen years. The emission of the total industrial waste gas and waste water being controlled more strictly was recommended.
