G/S model is a new type of spatial information network service model, based on distributed network architecture, which organizes, manages data to achieve client-aggregation-service via HGML. A solution of remote video monitoring system is raised by the study of G/S model. Intuitive data for the user are provided by the distribute network, which is used for monitoring geographic information and displaying video images on the client. Finally, an application is used for support our design.
