This paper demonstrated the feasibility of a 220-GHz wireless link communication system. The main components have been developed by our team. Using the characteristics of the components, we certificated a gigabit-class wireless system at terahertz. The system worked in ASK mode, the transmission data reaches 20Gbit/s, and the transmission distance is 100m. This wireless system will attract a great deal of interest as a way of catching up with the expanding broadband society.
