Permanent magnet synchronous motors are used extensively in high performance control systems according to developments in power electronics and control technology. In this work, performance comparison of Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is made by performing speed control. Proportional-Integral Control (PIC), Fuzzy Logic Control (FLC) and Proportional-Integral with Fuzzy Logic Control (PIFLC) are discussed as speed control methods. Because of enabling the analyze and performance improvement studies, simulations are realised with MATLAB/SIMULINK software and results are compared as proportional-Integral, fuzzy logic and proportional-integral with fuzzy logic control approaches are discussed one by one.
