In this paper, we at first analyzed the traditional SOAP-PRC (Simple Object Access Protocol-Remote Procedure Call Protocol) web services. We then proposed a resource sharing framework based on AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) and REST (Representational State Transfer) style. Moreover, a resource sharing platform has been implemented based on this framework. Experimental results are provided to show that the proposed method can reduce the server load and improve clients processor utilization effectively.
