In the future field of communication, broadband multimedia communication satellite will play an important role with its unique advantages. Through analyzing the characteristics of broadband multimedia communication satellite network and the bandwidth allocation, and aiming at the long time delay characteristics of broadband multimedia communication satellite network, this article puts forward the bandwidth allocation algorithm of traffic prediction based on BP neural network. The results of simulation show that the way of traffic prediction has high accuracy and needs less calculating amounts. It can meet the requirement of real-time dynamic prediction.
