Network Centric Warfare (NCW) concept has been developed over ten years, but some misunderstanding is still in existence. The Command and Control, Battle Management, Communications (C2BMC) system of U.S. Ballistic Missile Defense System is one of the cases which employs NCW concept successfully. In this paper, the successful reason was found by the work of information dissemination modeling and then the essence of NCW concept was grasped deeply. Firstly, the development status of C2BMC system was introduced; Secondly, the types and characteristics of BMDS information flow were analyzed and the Missile Defense Operation Information Dissemination System (MDOIDS) was put forwarded; Thirdly, the conceptual level model, command and control level model and description level model of C2BMC information dissemination were completed and the rules of C2BMC information dissemination were explored based above work, which would be beneficial to provide theory basis for obtaining information dominance and wining the information warfare.
