For the need of verification of gas meter measurement accuracy on gas meter verification equipment, the methods that the gas meter's display data can be acquired by utilizing pick of the reading value image of gas meter, image process and pattern recognition technology, and also the concerning measurement errors of the gas meter can be discriminated by the data analysis and comparison on the controlling PC are researched. The relevant required data can be displayed through the combined design of data display functional components. Then the fitness of the gas meter can be verified. The designed data acquisition and display system can meet the functional requirements of gas meter verification.
