Supporting video transmission over wireless ad hoc networks is challenging due to instable topology and non-infrastructure architecture. Multiple description coding (MDC) is a source coding technique robust to topology changing for video streaming. Therefore, we propose a video transmission scheme over wireless ad hoc network in this paper. In the proposed scheme, we use MDC to generate several independent video description streams, which are transmitted from multi-source to multi-receiver with proposed path construction and aggregation. Simulation results show that the performance of our proposed transmission scheme is better than that of the existing transmission scheme.
