Employee participation and involvement is essential in the new corporate structure and environment. Tracing the historical roots of the new organizational changes and adoption of new managerial paradigm characteristics of employee involvement in quality control and productivity improvements, and the way in which cooperative learning and team work ethics are implemented in engineering education are some of the major issues in engineering curriculum reform. The aim of this paper is to show whether or not cooperative teaching/learning works for engineering schools
