A simple design of a compact unequal power divider for dual-band operation is proposed based on coupled lines. Four sections of coupled lines are introduced to achieve dual-band impedance transformation. Closed-form design equations are given based on transmission line theory. The validity of the design is verified by implementation of an unequal power divider operating at 900MHz/2000MHz. Both EM simulated and measured results are shown.
