Nowadays, animation and manga have become part of our culture and have developed into industries with scale effect. Japan and America have had great influence on the development of Chinese animation and manga industry, while the values and aesthetics in the two countries are different from or even go against Chinese traditions. In China, most animation and manga lovers are teenagers. The animation and manga industry, as part of culture, is posing a huge impact on Chinese youth's ideology, social values and their taste of beauty, which will become one of the driving forces in forming their own cultural and aesthetic style in the mid-21st century. This aesthetics can be most directly represented in teenagers' clothing style and it will influence the clothing product design and development.
