With the developing of customer oriented market, the ability of rapid response to customer demand becomes more and more important. To enrich the response efficiency for the online ordering, this research focuses on proposing a collaborative production planning and scheduling system for Networked Manufacturing System (NMS). Meanwhile, multi-agent system technology is applied to enable the integration of different system and databases. These agents are able to assist humans in information communication, discussion and negotiation, and finally the generation of decisions. The system design and implementation procedure is given. The proposed system is good at enhance the communication efficiency between customers and enterprises, and among enterprises.
