Multimedia technology is an information technology which has developed very rapidly in recent years. It establishes the relationship between text, image (graph) and speech information by using computer technology. It integrates these information processing systems into a mutual system. We introduce an intelligent information inquiring system supported by multimedia technology. The system queries the knowledge base using text, image and speech media. The user can have different representations of the same semantic content. The system produces answers which have substantial content and form, and it can enlarge its knowledge base conveniently through learning
