Driving is a complex process requiring timely interactions between the driver, the vehicle and the environment. This paper aims at providing time-stressed intelligent services in the smart car. To guarantee the system's timeliness, we identify the situations which require timely responses and determine the worst-case, the deadlines and durations of these situations. The situations are preemptive so that a situation with higher priority will interrupt the current running task with lower priority. We implement a real-time scheduler to provide a satisfactory result in fewer amount of time.
