Parameter identification applied to Permanent Mmagnet Synchronous Motors become a research focus to improve servo control. The paper presents a new method which is clone selection-based parameter identification applied to PMSM. For comparison, the results of identification using the standard particle swarm optimization(SPSO) were also provided finally. It is concluded that the clone selection algorithm(CSA) remarkably improves the accuracy of parameters identification.
