In order to enable the data stored in relational database can be accessed dynamically for the Semantic Web and realize the relational database's query with SPARQL query language, the idea of realizing the SPARQL-TO-SQL query translation based on restrict RDF view is proposed. First, a novel way used to build the restrict RDF view for relational database is introduced. Then, based on restrict RDF view the basic framework of SPARQL-TO-SQL query translation at run-time is constructed. Finally, based on JAVA platform, a SPARQL-TO-SQL query translation system which realized the translation from the RDF query language SPARQL to SQL at run-time is developed. Thus the way to access relational database for Semantic Web is provided and the feasibility and efficiency of relational database's semantic query are further verified.
