This paper presented an experiment on Solar Assisted GSHP Heating System with a Latent Heat Storage Tank, which was with special 20# latent-heat-storage-paraffin as the heat storage medium. In this experiment, the solar energy which was stored in the Latent Heat Storage Tank could be transferred to the outlet-water of evaporator of the heat pump unit via a flat heat exchanger. The high temperature water which was heated by the solar collectors in days could heat the paraffin via the spire-coil in the Latent Heat Storage Tank, the temperature of high temperature water dropped, the paraffin could be melted when the temperature of paraffin rose to the melting point, and the energy was stored in the paraffin. The energy could be extracted via the spire-coil and flat heat exchanger which was connected with the outlet-water of the evaporator. This method can improve the temperature of the cycle-water of evaporator on a certain extent, and delay the reduction of temperature of under-ground when the heat pump unit run all the time, and then improve the performance efficiency of the heat pump heating system.
