In multi-motor driving belt conveyor system, variable speed liquid coupling was used for driving motors' power balance control by pushing in or pulling outward the bars to change their inner oil-contended content. And double fuzzy control was adopted in this complex system to reduce fuzzy rules, in which motor currents and belt speed were detected and actions on the bars were output. The simulation was made on system under double fuzzy control and PID algorithm, in which the fuzzy control shows better performances than PID in steady state error and response speed, etc. The TMS320LF2407A-based hardware and C-language-based software system were also been designed. It was tested on a three-10kw-motor driving system, and powers (or currents) kept balance within its 5% and reached expected result.
