This paper studies the uplink transmission technique based on Interleave-Division Multiple-Access (IDMA). The performance of IDMA is evaluated on Additive White Gaussian Noise (AWGN) and Block Fading (BF) Channels. Computer simulations are performed of varying number of users and iterations, code rates, channel characteristics. The effect of different scenarios by bit error rate is observed. Simulation results show that multi-user gain can be achieved in the IDMA system.
