Base on energy-efficient filed data transmission system and 8b10b modulation code, this paper discusses a hard correlation frame sync algorithm. This algorithm can get the performance similar to maximum likelihood algorithm, and has advantages in energy, complexity and realization with programmable logic. Finally, the algorithm is realized by Very high speed Hardware Description Language (VHDL) in two different methods. One is by combinational logic, which has an advantage in low resource. However, the method realized by timing logic has higher work frequency. The frame sync realized by combinational logic can perfectly satisfy the demand of Large-scale Seismic Acquisition System and reduce the energy consumed by data transmission system greatly.
