Channel sharing policies are proposed for a mobile radio network that provides telephone and dispatch services. The two services have different features and different service fields. The salient features and operational principles of both services are described. Based on these features, channel sharing policies are proposed. Analytical models are established for the proposed policies in order to gauge the performance of the network. Numerical results are provided and discussed for nominal network parameters
