The paper introduces an automatic meteorological data acquisition system based on embedded processor and used in distributed control network. The system which is accessed CAN Bus by CANopen communication protocol realizes remote monitoring and collecting for meteorological data. The ARM7 core LPC2368 and 24 bit high precision AD converter AD7793 are included in the system. Temperature, humidity, wind direction and speed, rainfall and other meteorological data can be collected by the system. The data can be freely sent from slave protocol stack to master node by CANopen. It is proved by the test that the system works reliability and stability.
