With the development of remote network technology, the systems of remote data collection, remote control and remote monitor have been widely used more and more. Data transmission is a key in these systems, thus a universal data transmission platform is urgently needed. In this paper, a data transmission platform based on 3G network is proposed, which realize the data communication with the public network through adopting 3G modem to access 3G network. Besides, serial driver, AT command control and DNS are discussed specially as the most important key techniques of the implementation of the system.
