Base on a study of the elderly's bacterial pneumonia, a large number of clinical data is collected. By the initial null data processing, data discretization, the difference computing and data reduction, syndrome diagnosis criteria of traditional chinese medical science treatment is established by the using of rough set. Then with symptom of diagnostic criteria above-mentioned, the Pawlak attribute importance reduction algorithm of rough set is processed after comprehensive symptoms between illness and treatment and analysis of its internal law. Traditional Chinese medicine evaluation index system in elderly's pneumonia is built for the experience to provide a scientific basis.
