It is important to achieve food safety using the food monitor system constructed with modern information technology. This paper firstly proposes a three-dimensional coding based on EAN·UCC to identify each phrase's information of food supply chain consistently. And then the main data model and kernel function of food monitor system are analyzed. After that, the logical structure and physical deploy of the system are introduced. The practice of the system shows it helps to achieve the whole course food safety monitor and management “from farm to fork”.
