In this paper, twenty factors of forest stand structure were selected from the data of forest inventory for Badaling forest farm of Beijing in 2004, including the origin, the average high and the closure and so on. The relationship between these factors and function of water conservation of forest were studied through factor analysis, and based on this analysis, the model of coupling relationship between structure and function was built. According to the values of each factor and colligation values of model, a comprehensive analysis was made for each type forest in study area. The result shows that there were complicated factors impact the function of water conservation of forest, its function was the result of joint action of many correlation factors. Only logical structure of forest can it be full play the function of water conservation.
